To insure this success, we have assembled a very strong management team with decades of experience in franchising, customer service, financing, new business start-up, international business development, marketing, and med-spa business technology and management. Combined, we feel we offer the best of every world for our franchisees who may range from the first time business owner to the seasoned investor.

Chris Hardy, CEO

Mr. Hardy has been involved in franchising, new concept development, new market development, venture capital and international business for over 20 years. He developed his first franchising concept in the Spanish market place in 1992 and has since been a founder or executive in over 10 different start-ups. Most recently, Mr. Hardy was a consultant, then officer in one of the fastest growing IPL hair removal franchises in history. He was also awarded the master rights for this concept for the Midwest region of the U.S. and has since launched a pilot location (the second in the entire U.S.) in the Minneapolis market place. Before this, Mr. Hardy was the founder, owner and officer of Bluestone Partners which represented large American franchisors in the European and Northern African market places for the last 12 years. During this time Bluestone successfully launched the Curves for Women brand in the French, Belgium, Tunisian and Moroccan market places resulting in over 200 franchises sold and operated. Under his leadership, Bluestone opened and operated the first Curves in the Rennes, France region and quickly grew the brand to be the largest fitness chain in France in just five short years. Mr. Hardy attended the University of Vermont, the University of Seville and the University of Alicante, where he received a BA in English and Spanish. Mr. Hardy has also been a guest lecturer at the St. Thomas School of Management for Entrepreneur studies.

Adriano Lucas, CFO

Adriano Callé Lucas is a co-founder and CFO of the Simply Hairfree Holdings, LLC a leader of IPL hair removal and skin rejuvenation in the U.S. In addition to his duties at Simply Hairfree, Mr. Lucas co-founded Chocobolo, Inc. (, which successfully operates and franchises unique European-style boutique cafés in New York City. He previously worked as a financial analyst at investment bank SG Americas Securities in the Capital Markets and Syndicate group in New York and at Societe Generale (GLE:PAR) in London, U.K. At the age of 18 Mr. Lucas was one of the founding partners of You Enjoy We Drive, a profitable and innovative transportation company servicing teenagers at vacation resorts. Mr. Lucas also currently holds board seat at CPU Consultores (, an international design and real estate advisory group, based in Lisbon, Portugal. He received a BA in business administration and management from Universidade Catolica Portuguesa in Portugal.

Emmanuelle Hardy, COO

Emmanuelle Hardy has been in the franchise business for more than 10 years, initially with American Express Financial Advisors, then with Curves from 2004 to 2011. She opened the first Curves center in France. She translated and adapted all processes and techniques for the launch of Curves. She successfully owned four franchises and contributed to bring the French network up to 150 centers by 2009. She acted as the Area Director, overseeing 100+ units, while providing support, guidance and on-going training to Curves Franchisees across France, Morocco and Belgium. She developed a team of 15 mentors across the country, to be local relay, implement plans of action for individual franchisees, based on their needs given the tools provided locally and internationally. She organized national conventions once a year and periodic local trainings. Emmanuelle was also the first BodyBrite USA franchisee.

Miguel Lucas, Chairman

Miguel Lucas was inspired to bring this revolutionary hair removal concept to the U.S. after seeing the success of this concept in Portugal and Europe. Miguel is a Partner at McKinsey & Company’s Lisbon Office, but spends time traveling throughout Europe where affordable IPL hair removal is quite common. He joined McKinsey in 1989, where he worked on a variety of projects with a concentration on financial institutions, telecommunications, and transportation. Mr. Lucas has been an active developer of telecommunications knowledge in the regulatory area- where he led projects on the new regulatory framework resulting from the European Directives-and in the corporate segment, in pricing and fixed/mobile substitution. Mr Lucas holds a BA in Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Portugal and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
